The Fellowship honors Berkeley Nobel Laureate Owen Chamberlain, who, together with Emilio Segrè, Clyde Wiegand, and Thomas Ypsilantis, discovered the anti-proton at the Berkeley Bevatron in 1955.

The Experimental High Energy Physics group at the University of Mississippi invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position to work on the NOvA and DUNE experiments. The successful candidate is expected to take on a significant role in the design and development efforts for the DUNE near detector. In addition, the applicant is expected to participate in the physics analysis of NOvA experimental data from running detectors including, but not limited to, sterile neutrino searches.
